Guys,
I've done relatively little sea fishing in the past.
I'm heading up to Bushmills for 2 weeks in July on a family holiday.
Any pointers. I have a 10 year oid son who's keen to have a go.
I do a lot of trout & pike fly fishing so I'd be especially interested in any marks where SWFF might be possible (ie not too many tourists milling around in the background (lethal backcast)).

if with the wee man for safety best bet portrush harbour harbour bar side, outside the entrance should be able to get pollock, glashon amd mackeril on the spinning by now with the tide and over the wall flatties, gurnards, doggies and maybe whiting. Inside the harbour , the other side of the wall could be good provide good fun with the flats and glashon as some big coalies feed on the scraps from the boats. Congers too!
Blue pool need to be able to cast and be wary of the swell, but spiinning and bait tactics the same. Bait ( worms & frozen )available both in the town and in coleraine, rags and mack will see you right. :P
