mackeral

#2 Post by kieran »

Hi MJM

Loads of mackerel available but in dribs and drabs all around the west coast from the shore and certainly from the boat. Temp in Clew Bay is 11 degrees, just on the margin, but I suspect it will be a bit warmer further south...

Very tasty too, just had one for the tea!

Time spent fishing is never time wasted...

2015 targets - a triggerfish, a specimen bass, a three bearded rockling to complete the set and something big and toothy from certain north Mayo deep water marks

Plenty around Castletown, when you locate them. There should be plenty from the boat in CSVN.
