Hi,
I'm going to Wexford later today to target smoothhound.
I've often caught really small ones fairly close in.
Is distance required for the larger ones?
Regards,
John D.

Hi John,
Obviously depends where you're fishing, but in the traditional Wexford smoothound haunts, my biggest fish have come at middle distance. Call it a good lob.
