Hi,
I will be visiting Ireland for the first time in late June and was hoping to do a spot of fishing. I will be staying near Drogheda. Can anyone suggest a location for a spot of sea fishing?
Being a novice at the sea fishing game will i have any success spinning off the coastline or will that just be a waste of my time?
Hope to hear from someone soon.
Hatter.

Go west!
or south or north, for that matter!
Try Clogher Head Pier around High Water for mackerel or the estuaries after June 15 when the bass ban ends.
Some decent sea trout and the odd bass reported to small white lures, anything that resembles a sand eel.
Some of the local guys might PM you other marks...
Hope this helps
