Stage Stocking Peeler Crab

Whats your method of stage stocking peeler crab with or without an aerator pumps and speaking of aerator pumps I saw a rapala one somewhere recently , some magazine and I dont remember which one . Anyone know the one Im talking about?

what do you mean by stage stocking,holding them back or bringing them on for the freezer.
do you get crab all year in dublin as we used to buy it off someone over there

Im mean both ways and you can buy crab here but its very expensive.

maximo, as far as i know most of the crab is obtained from cork in the lean months. gneral rule i think april to october. then the crabs are gone! but this is just were i collect 'em. others may say different.

i usually hold mine back in the fridge till before i need them and try to get them cracked for the day before then bring them to peak in water checking regularly.i dont mind a few softies for flounders as they sometimes fish better.
