Report:

I had intended to the louth coast, but I couldnt be bothered driving that far - so I decided to head to the Antrim coast to try and top up the species list a little. I stopped at the ledges but with low water I headed towards Redbay Pier.
Got to Red Bay pier and I had the pick of any spot, Either go to the p**sy wall or stand beside rotting ragworm and mackerel. so I opted to go in the middle.
I had a bit of breakfast and took my time setting up. I baited one rod up with mackerel and sandeel to search out any bigger stuff and lobbed the other rod out baited up with rag and mackerel strips.
A fella set up beside me and on his first cast he pulled in a belter flounder of 40cm. A real healthy and thick flounder.
I had no such luck pulling any thing big out with all my fish being small. I decided to target the mini species in the weeds towards the end of my session picking up a nice selection of wrasse.
I took some photos but most fish were small so I returned them as quickly as possible. Not a very exciting session but just to inform the nation that redbay pier is fishing well and still stinks.

Well done Stevie, I am hoping to find out what it smells like on Wednesday evening and hopefully catch some fish.
