Dunaff Head/lennan Donegal 24/5/08

[b]People myself and a local

[b]Duration 9 15am to 4ish

[b]Tide dropping

[b]Weather sunny/some wind

[b]Bait mackerel/squid

[b]Rigs pully's

[b]Results 5 thorn back rays 3 dogies

[b]Report headed off to lennan about eight to meet up with a friend of mine to fish a rock mark that we know, when we left his gaff "after the fry up" 8) we drove round to check out the pier, there were a few guys fishing it, so with the tide starting to drop we headed on to the rock mark at Dunaff. this spot is a bit if'ie, so it was a small tackle box, a few rigs and a hand full of weights in the pockets and off we went. first hour or so was dead then mickey landed a nice ray of around 5lb, then we started to get the bites. another ray of 3lb and a small dogie came to mickey, then it was my turn, had 3 ray's for three casts two around 3lb one at 4lb. after that we got a dogie each, then the wind got up a bit and the waves were getting a bit rough so we got off the rock. so after i dropped mickey home i drove back round by the pier, there were a few other guys fishing, but not a lot was being got. had a talk with three guys and told them about another few spots around there that they could try. all in all we had a good chat about the fishing. had a very enjoyable day out and looking forward to the next.. sorry no pic's the camera was in the boot!!

well done sir, sounded like a wee gem of a spot. The rays seem to be in force now :D
