People:myself and dave'handbrake'

Duration:5hours

Tide:low

Weather:clear with slight easterly

Bait:mack and sandeel

Rigs:various

Results:dogs thornies and turbot

Report:

got a call from handbrake in the morning, (un)fortunately papa smirff couldnt make it
got out there to have a couple of snorklers swim past just as we were setting up and that was the last we saw of them. this was the first time handbrake hadn't blanked on this beach in over a year, i was first to get a doggie, and lost a hook to spider crabs  dave caught a teabag which turned out to be a turbot  (there seems to be loads of small ones around at the moment).
had a rig in close (5 yrds) which something ran with for a few seconds.. had the ratchet set on the sl20 and it screamed... but no fish attached :(

Ah, is that who the text was from the other evening? I didn't have his number saved...
Its called fishing, not catching. If it was called catching it wouldn't be fishing!
