People:me and fishface

Duration:7-10-30pm

Tide:falling

Weather:glorious

Bait:rag,lug,squid, sardine(no use  )

Rigs:me 3+2 hook flappers,fishface various

Results:doggies, flounder, dab, whiting, PLAICE

Report: Met Neil at 7 and set up . Neil was first off the mark with a nice flounder and then we both were kept busy with plenty of bites all night   . Sea was nice and calm and we could see all the rattles when they came. I got a flounder and then a couple of doggies which really rattled my rod tip. I finally caught a plaice, another species which had eluded me till now (dont anybody out there tell me that its not one this time     ). All in all a great session following another great one on Sat (BASS   ). The usual tourists came by for a natter and were asking silly questions and taking photos (I would have asked if it was ok!!).They didnt seem too surprised when Neil told them we were fishing for fish   . Some photo album in Holland will have photos of rag and lug in it   . Another idiot was roaring by in his powerboat trying to impress   but thats enough moaning for now, we still caught fish,,,,,thanks

To be fair I could see the difference straight away when I finally caught one  , spots more definite and round etc. I can take whatever they dish out  Had a great week on the fishing front but some bad luck elsewhere, funny how life evens things out  . I'll keep my fingers crossed for the weekend Neil, the old "local knowledge" hasnt let us down yet   You sure its 7 :?: :?:
