#1 Post by Keeper »

People: under keeper and myself

Duration: 4-5 hours

Tide:flooding

Weather: brutal

Bait: crab

Rigs: simple ones

Results: 12lb ray, 4lb bass plenty flounders

Report:
Had hoped to post this earlier but like a moron was unable to att. the photos.
Totally out fished by under keeper who caught the ray and the bass. Ray was a good 12 lbs and went back in good condition. The bass followed after that. I was restricted to catching flounders. Best flounder was about 2 lb. Had hoped for more bass but the east wind probably did not help.
We only brought crab with us as we were targeting bass, Maybe if we had fish baits we may have had more ray.

nice fishing , its a pity it'll be the bass closed season from 15th may so this'll be your last chance for a month .
If someone shows you a mark to fish, respect it and dont pass it of as one of your own, dont tell every man and his dog about it.
