Report:headed out just an hour before high tide at 7am went for a small wreck off brownstown which was full of coalies and pollack ,after about an hour of non stop action headed to a reef mark i had which is about four miles off and it was full of launce and grey gurnard 3's and 4's at a time also had a ballan wrasse and a herring here the conditions ideal with wind against tide so nice slow drift ,spent about two hours here and decided to head for the hook to try for a few cod ! when i got there the drift was fast and so was the fishing pollack every where found it very hard to get past them to get a cod but eventually i got through and got the cod i came for followed by my first mack of the season. great days fishing can't wait to get back out !!
