People:Just me

Duration:9.30-11.30am sat + sun

Tide: HT 10.30 sat. HT 11am sun

Weather: mild breeze sat, flat calm sun

Bait: lug + crab

Rigs: Pennels

Results: 4lb bass sat, 2lb bass sun

Report:

Tried the slip in Ring over the weekend around high tide. Bait was getting eaten fairly quickly by the crabs so wasnt really expecting much. Had the 2nd rod packed away to go home when the first one got a few good rattles. Picked it up to see if he was on and felt the line completely slack - hooks gone :cry: :cry: :cry:
Very annoyed with myself as I hadnt set the drag and had the rod wedged between a few boulders so there was very little give.

Baited up again anyway and got a 4 lb bass soon after. Left wondering if there was a much bigger one with a hook in his mouth :?: :?:

Gave it another go the following morning, just a 2 lb bass to report in flat calm conditions.
