Bass 8/5/2008

#1 Post by Danny M. »

People:Myself, Carpets & Pat

Duration: 6 hours.

Tide:rise and fall.

Weather:A bit of a mixed bag really.

Bait:Lug,

Rigs:Pennel Pulleys

Results: 4 Bass 1 Flounder & 1 Edible Crab.
Myself 3 Bass (All 17 Inches)
Carpets 1 Bass (15 Inches) 1 flounder.
Pat 1 edible crab.

All fish were returned alive.

Report: Well after being away for a week , I was bulling for some Bass action. Dug the bait and headed out.

Pat had a large edible Crab early on ( probably the lad that was snipping all our hooks of our snoods !!!)
Carpets was next on the action with a small flounder. Hours past with no action. I got three bites in a row which resulted in three Bass. The first of which put up a huge scrap! (good lad).
Again all went quiet, Pat headed home , myself and carpets stayed on for another while. Carpets managed to pull a Bass out of the water just before we headed home.

Altogether a slow tiring session, a sure better luck next time !
