Folks, this is a great website and a fabulous forum.

Due to the closure of my local slipway [Clogherhead Co. Louth] to facilitate harbour redevelopment [for the commercial sector], I have been out and about looking out for alternative launch sites for my dingy. However I have been confronted by recently erected signs on two local beaches and one slipway saying, "NO POWER BOATS OR JET SKIS ALLOWED" "RESERVED BATHING AREA" and quoting bylaw such and such. I have launched on these 3 sites previously without any incident. It appears small boat skippers are being tarred with the same brush as the minority of jet skiers, who a danger to bathers as well as themselves. Just wondering if any other forumers are finding this an increasing problem?
