People: Me and Mark

Duration: 3.5 hours

Tide: rise for 2hours fall for 1.5hours

Weather: Very Foggy

Bait: Rag Mack fillets

Rigs: 3 hook on float and on bottom

Results:1 Wrasse just over a 1lb

Report: Headed out for first trip this year, Mark got a new rod for Christmas, so it was the first trip for it but he didn't catch anything. We fished just off the the first set of large flat rocks.

Once the tide turned the floats and heavy weights on bottom just flew from right to left. Only one bite all day from the bottom on rag, a nice little fight from a 1lb wrasse, as always I wish I'd been using my lighter rod but hey it's just good to get out for a morning and get a fish on the hook.

Well done, nice wrasse, good to get started again. Massive spring tide at moment, no wonder your gear headed for Scotland when the ebb started!
