plenty macks to be had in a southwest kerry deep water rock mark-the gaff is littered enough with beer cans, mono and feather wrapping as it is without mentioning it's name. but sure most of you who know south kerry will figure it out
those of you who know where I'm talking about know how unspoiled, wild and beautiful this place is and I just feel the way people give two fingers to the nature by indiscriminate littering that has provided them with a black bin liner full of macks is an absolute disgrace.

the irony of using a bin liner to create so much rubbish - these people have no respect of anything full stop

4 Macks caught in Balscadden around midday by one of two nice indian chaps. Quite a fluke as all caught on one cast very close to shore. Surtprising as the east wind had coloured the sea considerably. Only fished for about 45 mins. Had to leave when the usual type came down with cans of beer etc. I couldnt be arsed fishing alongside them. Get out of Dodge.......!!!

I was in Viking Tackle shop (Bray) this evening, guy behind the counter reckoned a customer from his shop had taken around 100 (yes one hundred) macks up at coliemore harbour south dublin.

None showing around bray head this evening though
