Ennereilly - Saturday 3rd May

#1 Post by adrwdarcy »

Arrived at about 18.30. I was using rag, peeler & sandeel. 2 hook flappers. High tide was 19.30 (I think). Fished my tip tornado about 100yrds out and my G5 about 15-20yrds out. I had no bites for about 2 hours, then started getting a few. However, no fish. At about 10pm another guy showed up and setup beside me. He was a local and said that the beach was fishing very well for Bass the last few nights. He told me that fishing this beach is best fished on a falling tide.

Anyway, at about 22.45 noticed that the other guy caught a small whiting. At last a sign of some fish :D As soon as he caught the fish, my rod tip started going. A small flounder on the end of the line :D At least I didn't blank!

Nothing else after that.
