[b]People

[b]Duration 11.15am to 3.10pm

[b]Tide rising

[b]Weather big blow!!!!

[b]Bait mac/squid

[b]Rigs pulley's

[b]Results 5 turbot

[b]Report got to the pier around 11.00am, when i got out of the car i could'ent beleive it, the wind was that bad it was nearly blowing me up the pier  said feck it and went ahead and set up the gear, but only set up the one rod. if i was getting bites i could not see them for the rods were bobbing every were in the wind, i even had to tie a piece of rope on to the tripod to stop it blowing over, i have never seen it that bad. and to be honest i never lifted in to one of the turbot's, i didn't even know that they were on until i went to check my bait. i stuck it out for about four hours and that was enough for me, i high tailed it off the pier and headed for home.....
as ole rab c said " see me' see the sea' i love the sea me"

good result man considering the conditions. it's been a bit like that lately. my last few trips out were the same, only discovering there was a fish on when reeling in to check baits  .still nice to see you were rewarded for sticking it out

Good result pulled out of the bag......

Its surprising what you can grind out when the going gets tough, just not the same enjoyment though.

...(the van must have been removed,) i was wondering were all the rubbish came from on the left handside of the pier up near the front, i thought that somebody had been cleaning up a boat or something...
