Duration:6:30pm till 10:30pm

Tide:Low water before 9pm

Weather:mild westerly

Bait:eel, mack and squid

Rigs:Pulleys penels 2/0 to 5/0

Results:Doggy, A ling and A whiting

Was the Ling any size Donagh?

Are they a normal catch at this spot?

Around 1lb the size of a strap which I thought it was to start with in the dark. I have a pic I'll put up later. Gearoid McS had one here a year or to ago. I don't usually hit distance here due to tackle losses but changed spots so maybe theres more around. They used to be more common in the Estuary in the early 90s from shore marks so I'm told.
