some of the lads had the same problem: slimey slippy slipway, council not responding. so they had a word with a local council worker and he got them the stuff which they spray on themselves. I'll ask them what it's called.

The stuff you want is Sodium HypoChlorite 10/11% from the Albion Chemical Co, Leeds, UK tel 0044 113 2505011
Dilute it 4:1 and spray in on.
As usual, it's important to realise that I have no experience or qualifications in this, so treat every chemical with caution and follow the manufacturer's instructions/usual safe practices.
