Oh but you will john,
Dulittle introduced me to mullet fishing about 3 years ago and I had previously seen a report in a mag about a guy fishing by a outlet pipe ( foul ),

What he did was let a white fly soak in black tea over night then had a great days fishing at the pipe, it was him that christen it the sh*te fly

So when Dulittle explained that we would be using mackerel for bait
I tied up some of these fly’s as best I could with what ever I could get my hands on, had to use knitting wool ( cream ) for the body and a white feather palmer seen as we would be using mac as bait it made sense to forget about the tea ,

It worked a treat got my first ever fly rod caught sea fish on that fly or should I say my variation of it, :D

You should try it john, 8)

And ya I reckon any white fly soaked in black tea will do the trick,

Cant remember if the hook was size 12 or 14 I still have them somewhere its finding them is the prob,
