john it was brutal ,weed weed and more weed/
ask alby he loves the stuff,
mick devoy had a zone win well done mick
i had a 3rd in zone c with 2 counters :oops:
i would say 50% blanked
not a good day by far
great to meet the lads
2009 species= whiting,flounder,dab,codling,bass,dogs,rockling,smooth hound,

i could see tumble weed under the water it was that bad :cry: :cry:

Well done on the zone 3rd. Must of been a tough day will all that weed. Is that usual or was it the big spring tides that picked it up off the beaches?

i'd say the northlies bring the weed down

Well done Pete, well deserved mate!!!

I took a look around my beach buddy at the end at the weed I'd taken off during the comp, at a conservative estimate I would say there was 3 tonnes :roll: Only had one in myself, and was dissapointed the way Ciaran & Pat were whipping fish out either side of me, great entertainment though, some battle they had!!! Well done agan Pete
