wet gear for summer fishing

#1 Post by beachbuddy »

Hi all,
before i start this isn't a plug, just an observation to those based in cork.As the fishing is a bit so so at the moment i decided to check out the army surplus shop based in midleton today.
To does in the know this is a great place for all bits and bobs.Today i spotted some very snazy gortex jackets and pants in camo colours. To be honest they look the part and are very keenly priced, theres also a gortex smocks.Don't get me wrong they wouldn't replace the flotation suits for winter fishing but for milder and wet weather they look the bizz. The whole place is an alladins cave,by the way i didn't purchase any jacket yet but did get a stainless steel little forceps for 2.50 very chuffed with myself.
Happy browsing

Hi all,
sorry for such a delay in replying back. The shop has actually moved to the market green shopping centre area, across the car park from tesco. The shop is much better laid out now in comparison to what it was and is definately worth the trip.
Tight lines.
