People:me,keith,james,lampoon and davey

Duration:dawn till dusk

Tide:end of ebb all the flow

Weather:northerly

Bait:lug crab and razor

Rigs:pulley pennells and two hook flappers

Results:nothing between all of us.

Report:very slow day the wind at our backs and the time of year didn't help. tried spinning at a sheltered head land to no avail, water was clear though id say it would fish well in the summer months.
nice to get out with some of the lads of the forum. the stomach was sore from the laughing. met up with cortaz who gave us some advice "you wont catch anything"
great to get out nonetheless

The north wind flattens off the surf not ideal for bass and damn cold, iv never caught anything on the beaches in waterford with weather like that at the moment :(

You might have had better luck if you had fished the hours of darkness. Usually produces - even when flat calm.

Moon transit has been proven to have some effect, if it had no effect at all we wouldn't worry about tides eh?

Mr green,,
so you go fishing by moon phases only?????
i agree that you have to read the moon phases and tides but in conjunction with sea and weather conditions,,not just the moon and tide sizes,,that is very short sighted indeed when targeting Bass

gee
