hi all, bought a new rod and reel recently and shopped around in dublin , i was gobsmacked at the difference in prices, some shops were a 100% dearer than others, i buy quite regulary from one shop in paticular who was second dearest iasked him 2 match the price of the cheapest shop, he told me to feck off that he would sell lots of them at that price,wont ever begoin back to that shop ever :evil:

You should try ebay buddy If you know what you want you can find a bargain.....

try viking in bray very helpful and reasonable , u always have comeback if you are buying the more expensive gear such as rods and reels

wont mention where it was, no worries , was buying 3 reels and 2 rods so helost outon the business and much more , pays to shop around and no excuses for bad manners :shock: :!:

think i now who you are talking about.
he seems to be a very paranoid man as well thinks everyone is going to rob him was in the shop one time and the guards arrived to see what was going on he had pressed the panic alarm behind the counter :shock:

some very unhappy customers on another forum i frequent but they name and shame him :lol: :lol:

ah well, can only be one winner, and hes not it ,what goes around ,comes around as they say tight lines 2 all, gonna try out my new rod and reel sat, :lol: :D weather cant be as badas last weekend :(
