We're going fishing this weekend so we have desided we might try find our own bait. After scouring the internet for awhile I found this so I think we'll give it a go.

Lend us some of your tips please....Steve.

no 1 tip go at low tide :lol:
no2 tip bring a fork
no3 tip bring a bucket
no4 tip get deep heat spray for the next day
no5 tip and most important unless you have time to spare ring and order some in your local tackle shop its worth it if you dont need more than 60 :lol: :lol: :lol:

Ah See you've tried this before... I think I might try this once and see how I get on,, we only need a few for a nights fishing...But for sure I'm going to order a few from the local bait shop just in case.

If you have no luck, let me know and I can give you the number of the guy in that video clip. His name is Dave Tilly and he's a top if not the top bait supplier in the country.

If you ever meet Daves da, you'll see what digging can do to you.

His hands needed operations to stop them from clawing up, he has scars on his wrists from it.

The only thing though is that the man is around the 80 mark and he looks healthier than most 50 year olds, suppose it's all the fresh air he's had.

good advice on the deep heat , used to dig bait for a living for a while , certainly keep u fit , might take it up again due to the number of my bellies :oops: best of luck in the masters alby :!:

LOL.... Deep heat..haha.. I was hoping it was going to be as easy as it looks as Dave scoops up the worms from the sand in the video....A friend has also mentioned They are fast critters digging fast is how its done..

Looks like the start of dollymount on the video will have to find the place on the map... tide seems to be low at 11am this Saturday...
