Chipped Century CCC
My stand fell yesterday and chipped My New Century CCC on its first proper run out, I wasnt impressed, Is it possible to repair? The only reason I want to is that Im afraid peeling over time...Could it be a diy with the rod building kits on ebay or would I be better to taking it to someone? If I do it myself it might just look like a big blob on the rod!

hi turbot' it is easy to put right all you need is a bottle of fly tie'ing varnish, and apply a coat to it, when dry apply another coat, and so on. until you get it even..hope this helps you!!!

no prob's mate, have dealt with that sort of damage for a lot of guys. just make sure to remove any loose bits ( make sure its completely dry before you start ) use fine varnish and build up the layers. it will work out fine. let me know how you get on....cheer's
