People:13

Duration:3.30pm - 7.30pm

Tide:2.9m - 1.6m

WeatherWinds and showers

Bait:crab, lug mackerel

Rigs:various

Results:25 fish (coalies and flats) 11 out of 13 with fish.

Report:Originally this was meant to be held on Packs strand but the tide did not co-operate so we moved to the slob bank even though the tide was dropping. Within the first 20 minutes the first fish was caught by Pierre Cope, finally getting off the mark with the B.A.S.S. club (admittedly this is only the 2nd competition that he's fished with us, but now he's off the mark! ).
Despite the fact that the tide was dropping 11 out of the 13 anglers had fish and the competition was won by Mick Maher with 5 fish ( 2 flounders and 3 coalies ) with Jamie Santry coming 2nd with 4 fish ( 2 flats and 2 coalies ). The pool for the longest fish was won by Brendan O'Regan and Jamie Santry - both had flats of 42cm.
I finished 4th with 2 flats in the last hour or so, my biggest fish being 39cm.

thought you might have needed scuba gear for original venue tom,was crab hard to come by due to the weak tides?any chance you could post remaining fixtures for the year.hopefully the thermals wont be needed for next one.

I've posted the rest of the fixtures in the clubs and competitions section.
The 2 days prior to the competition there wasn't a chance of getting crab.
