[b]People me & the son

[b]Duration 11am to app: 3pm

[b]Tide H/W @ 12.30 ish

[b]Weather far to windy

[b]Bait lug/mac/razer/squid

[b]Rigs pully rig/2 hook cliped down/1 hook running lead

[b]Results 1 flatie

[b]Report we got there just before 11am, got the rods set and baited up, water was rough but little wind at this stage. got a few small bites to start with and then all quiet, then i got one, few min: later the sons rod went it took it that hard that the rods and tripod nearly went over the end of the pier, when he lifted into it, nothing! it was gone. i set up a 6" fiberglass rod/wire trace with 6'0 hook and a mac:'s head, conger took it and i missed it. after that the wind was blowing a gale, so we packed up and went round to dunree to see how the comp was going.

aye but just the one, this pier usually throws up a good few along with some good plaice, but it was way to rough. most of the time we didn't know if we were getting bites or if it was the wind, for the rods were blowing about to much, dont mind the rain but jes; i hate strong wind's

it can blow the head off you sometimes on that pier, but depending on the wind direction it can be sheltered when other areas are blowing a gale, but i cant remember which direction, its not in my fishing journal, so i guess i just have to fish it more and work it out again, nice flattie mate
