Bangor Mark 2/03/08

#1 Post by Drew »

People: Dan, Drew

Duration: 5.30pm - 8pm

Tide: Pushing

Weather: Ewwwwwwwwwwwww

Bait: Rag, Black Lug

Rigs: Sheppys, Pats, Scratchers.

Results: 3 Rockling

Report:

When we left Millisle the weather wasn't too bad, By the time we got to the mark we had some lovely horizonal rain!

We waited til it eased then got set up with Pulleys and scratchers baited with Rag. After a while Dan got a rattle close in, and brought a Rockling ashore.

Really thought the conditions would have been perfect for a couple of decent coalies but they didn't arrive and my first fish was a Rockling around the same size as Dans.

Knocks and bumps continued for most of the session as the rain finally eased and I managed another wee Rockling, Nothing better turned up, which was a real pity...

Maybe next time, eh Kid? 8)
