word is out that a new tackle shop is opening paddys weekend in courtown ,after talking to joe byrne,mick redmond [owners] the shop will be mainly sea angling stock,boat angling ,aiming alot to the match angler as well as the pleasure angler,all top brands,open 7 days till 9 or 10 pm depending on time of year.imo it will be well worth a vist and check it for your self
2009 species= whiting,flounder,dab,codling,bass,dogs,rockling,smooth hound,

that would be handy, any idea where in courtown ( not that its a big place anyways )

hi steve, right beside the post office 100yards from the marinea once in courtown easy found

Steve, that's about 30 seconds from the entrance to the caravan park. Now Shauna won't see you at all.

i do know where the post office is.. i passed it often enough to get to the pier :lol:

the same place ,it has been fully gutted and done up looks great

hi lads, talking to joe byrne the shop is opening on saturday ,had a quick look it is stocked fully for the sea angler ,and i can say all top brands ,can say going to be broke by saturday evening

hya i new tothe fishing scene but will be spending time in courtown in summer any idea where the best place for shore fihing is there mainly pier and harbour fishing. ta

the shop was a success ,the lads are very happy with the fisrt two days,i bought a shinamo uptider,2 shinamo boat rods,abu padded boat rod bag,imax smock,bulk spools line and alot of rig makeing gear very impressed with the prices,happy days

jaysus pete u must be broke or won the lotto, spent a few quid there myself saturday, nice lads great info on marks , rigs and baits etc, thats some tope in the picture joe caught 40lb plus , jesus can u imagine that from the shore :?: :shock:
