People:me, ginoceltic, rocker, and doc

Duration:3.30 till 8.30pm

Tide:full low at fiveish,

Weather:nice, mild, calm.

Bait:lug, squid, mackeral.

Rigs:three hook flappers mainly.

Results:me- 16 whiting, 7 flounder 2 dabs. rocker - 4 nice flounder, whiting, 1 rockling.
gino- will post his own, doc - five species- codling, whiting, rockling, flounder, dab.

Report:we get out every sunday so decided to give ballymoney a go. we hadnt given it a good session in a while. it was quiet for the first hour and a half for me , rocker, and doc gino was catching though . rocker and gino got the best of the flounder, most of mine were around the 20cm mark, doc done well on the species. the fish really came on the feed as darkness fell. doc and rocker left about a hour before me and gino, then we packed up as we were fed up with the whiting. ah well thats january and february for ya .roll on the summer.

hi steve its a beach, sand mixed with pebbles , it produced good codling for us last year, its just north of the courtown beach. ballymoney beach is a small enough beach its about half a mile in length.
