At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

given the current exchange rates and the fact that i have family to have stuff sent to and someone going over to visit soon to bring it home tax free.......................................... what is the best online store in the US for ordering tackle. had a look at cabellas and that seemed pretty good eg TLD 15 for only €95 including postage to NJ address.

Im sure there are other places worth a look............ any suggestions

also any gear worth having that we cant get here

Have had stuff delivered by Cabelas to a hotel without any problems, they used UPS and I was able to track the parcels progress to its destination, have also got stuff from boaters world, they have free delivery within the US if you spend more than 100 dollars,it would also be worth your while checking out the Penn website that should give you tackle shops near to where you would be staying, had great value in Braided line, bass lures, and reels.

Time spent fishing is never time wasted...

2015 targets - a triggerfish, a specimen bass, a three bearded rockling to complete the set and something big and toothy from certain north Mayo deep water marks

Have a look at Scheels as well - it's based in the Mid-West (Nebraska) - but they do mail order.
