In the last two winters I have regularly caught whiting on the east side of Donegal bay. This year I have caught one! Anyone else noticed this? Any ideas why? Or have I just missed out?
Alan.
Where are the whiting?

well amazingly they are apparently of carrickfergus harbour !!! yes the harbour, a few were caught yesterday and this word spread quite quickly yesterday evening, so plenty heading towards the harbour today, so my shops been busy..they are trying everything and anything..
had no confirmation of the catch myself but the rumours were good for business...mainl youngsters at the harbour and the odd dad pushed out the door while mum cooks the dinner....
but i suppose its a nice day even if theres nothing caught
