any fish around galway at mo

heading to galway on saturday hoping to get out for a couple of sessions while up there any one any tips on venues, have only fished up there once by salthill in summer mackeral bashiing any ray to be caught up thereabouts this time of year

its fairly quiet round galway now - say chances of ray are limited - youll get whiting most places after dark and flats on the beaches

small pout poor cod rockling pollack available from the piers

if i was in your shoes id catch a few whiting in salthill, be done with the fishing and do what galway does best - drinking

only chances of ray are deep water marks, a few around clifden and roundstone but as corbyeire said its a bit early yet for any numbers of ray..
