Pick up a copy of Bob Moss's first Book, "A Guide to Shore Angling
on the Dingle Peninsula". This book gives you loads of marks to choose from. It will be a bit too early for plugging but you might be in with a chance off one of the beaches. The brandon Beaches are always work a try.

most of the flounder were taken at short range in the surf on plain lugworm baits on a two hook flapper with a bomb weight...the biggest two were caught on mackeral on a 3/0 pennell pulley rig set out for ray... the ray was caught on a 3/0 pennell pulley rig loaded with four sandeels and blasted out. if i was going again soon i'd only bring lots of fresh lug, lots of sandeel and a bit of mackeral...and some peeler is u can get any...
