team viking raiders rod (conoflex)

I think they used to do them a few years ago when they sponsored one of the match fishing teams? The site looks good.

I believe they were great anglers alright. Sponsored for everything from Rods clothing beach buddys the lot. They even had a bait manager! Word has it that they would show up at a match be given their bait and pointed towards the sea, fish for a few hours win the match and then get driven home! Stuff of legend! :D I wonder are they still around? but probably a good thing they are not you'd win nothing!

I think they won the Winter Festival too and were even filmed by TG4 during a match! They were the Boyzone of the match world!

They were on the scene when I started fishing so they were like Gods!
Do any of the Viking lads have any old pics or anything? I'd love a poster or an old smelly bait towel that they would of used :D

I'm starting a campaign to Bring back the Raiders!!
