People:Me,Dave,Thomas

Duration:2:30pm - 10:30pm

Tide:high to low

Weather:blustery, sunny.

Bait:lug, mussel, squid, sand eel, fresh peelers

Rigs:all sorts, mainly pennels and 2 hook flappers

Results:countless whiting, 1 rockling, 1 dog fish on my last cast.

Report:was a hard day, whiting were everywhere, none over twenty cms, they were attacking and stripping all baits, even manged to take one on a large double peeler cod bait i had out, it wasint even hooked, only caught its teeth up in the bait elastic, slight problem with weed but i expected that at this spot. Overall a quiet day but by no means a blank, a nice double of whiting and a doggie on my last cast.had a couple of good tugs as darknes fell around 6ish. While reeling in felt some head shakes and was taking some effort to bring the fish in, then while pulling it through a couple of big waves the line went slack..lost it  maybe my first codling of the year or a bass? ill never no
