hi lads
planning on doing a spot of fishing during the week. have the week off :D . i live near enough to howth so if anyone has any nice marks, baits tips ,tactics etc it would be of great help.

The good marks in Howth are all deadly dangerous to get to.
Have a look around on this site there are some mentioned in the shoremarks.
Good fish to be had but not where the most of the anglers are hanging out.
2008 Species: Flounder, whiting, coal fish, Dogfish, rockling, dab.

dont like fishing in howth, but if i was fishing it i would fish east pier in2 sea at 1st elbow and up 2 light house or low rocks from cat rock 2 balscaden. if you head out let me no how u get on :D :D

yeh your best bet is to go to the east pier, you will catch alot whiting maybe even the odd coalfish, ive always had luck when i cast out far near the lobster pots! luck mate
