howya pete when i say quiet we were catching but not like other times we fished there the whiting were slow enough at first maybe the tide early on wasnt great, but they were in close and out far . i know its a good beach in the summer my mate had a 5 pound bass on it last year and i had two massive bites on makerel heads in close in the same nite. so the bass were hunting in close that nite. its a good beach always throws up something
