People:me

Duration: 5.30pm to 8.30pm

Tide:rising full at 7.30pm

Weather: dry no wind

Bait: mack squid

Rigs:3 hook 2 up 1 down, pulley rig

Results: 3 flounder (two very small, 1 around 25cm), 3 whiting

Report: First cast produced two baby flounders on top and bottom hook. I was going for something bigger later on with the pulley but no chance. Seems not to be the right spot to wait for bass or cod (at least at the moment).

If someone can IM me a nice spot around the Waterford City area for bass and cod I would be delighted. I tried the Saleens, Tramore, Dunmore and Cheekpoint - no luck so far.

Good luck!!!

Keep trying tramore beach you really have to fish it alot to get results, but theres always a chance of nice bass and cod! It can be very hit and miss but well worth it when you get it on a good night.

I have to agree with James but keep fishing Saleens. You have to put in the hours to work the spot out but when you do it can be great..

There is no "set in stone" way or area to fish here as the sand bars change almost daily but keep at it....
