Duration:6pm till 10pm
Tide:high tide @ 8.30
Weather : head on wind and driving rain.
Bait:lug and squid
Rigs:3 hook flappers and clip down pennels
Results:me- 10 whiting , 1 flounder 33cm. gino- 4 whiting, the best of them 33cm.
Report:had bait from weekend so went out for a few hours . weather was bad hard to cast into the head on wind. nice rough sea for a good codling but they never showed. it was that bad gino nearly lost his beach buddy. all the whiting were of ok size though average about 27cm.

Not a thing wrong with any shore whiting over 30cm, getting harder an harder these days to find them that big
Sea Species(25) bass, codling, whiting, turbot, seatrout, stingray, pollock, coalfish, longspine scorpion, ballan wrasse, dogfish, ling, pouting, poor cod, dab, mackerel, smelt, sandeel, launce, bull huss, painted ray, thick lip mullet, golden grey mullet, rock goby.

yes that one of 33cm was a first for me only seen them that size out of boats normally gino has a habit of catching nice size fish of the normally small speices... :roll:
