How many of you are using beads as attraction when you tie your rigs??
I do.. And as many of you do im trying to keep my fishing simple and cheap, this is what i came up with you for this time.
i have a kid, shes soon to be 6 years old, on e day she came home from preschool with a necklace made from plastic beads, ofcourse the necklace did as they allways to, it broke and hundreds of beads was on the floor... while picking up the beads togehter with her i suddenly came to think if those exspensive beads i buy in tackle shops, the beads she had was in boring pastellcolors and wouldnt have much effect on the fishing so..
I went to a hobbystore and looked for these beads, and what did i find.??
Illuminous beads - same size as the small ones i normally buy but these cost 1,42£ for 1000 beads...!! yup 1 0 0 0 beads 1,42£
Pink beads (VERY PINK) - 1,12£ for a bag of 1000 beads
to good to be true, i bought a pack of each for myself while i was buying beads for my daugther, perfect way to hide my tackleshopping ;)
pics of the beads, for color description and so you know which beads im talking about.
PS. i dont know if the beads work, but why should'nt they? the fish dont care if i got the beads cheap or expensive.

Sequins and beads
If like me, you are into bling flattie rigs, don't bother paying an exorbitant price for sequins and beads in your tackle shop.
There are some great offers on E-bay for Sequins and beads. Go to sections such as dressmaking, sewing, crafts etc. There are lots of sellers offering beads and sequins at much less than the rip-off prices charged in tackle shops.
Check out your local hobby and craft shops and if you have the nerve, go to shops that sell dress-making accessories!
PS You may have some explaining to do to your nearest and dearest as to why you have had a sudden interest in ladies fashion items and are able to hold a conversation on the subject where to buy pearlised 7mm cup sequins!
