Conger eel caught off a pier in Bantry Bay 5/1/08.Bait was a frozen mackerel head and a fresh coalfish head on a 10/O O'Shaughnessy hook.

5 Bearded Rockling and a dab 05/12/2008 Ennereilly three hook size 2 flapper lug tipped with mackerel. Eric beat me to the post on the dab :evil: :lol:

I suppose its time to join in the fun , pollack and shore rockling caught from bangor pier on a single hook paternoster size 4 hook and one ounce lead .

Shanny,caught today 8/9/08 just before dark of a pier on the north shore of Bantry Bay.Bait used was frozen mackerel on a spinning rod with a simple hook and split shot trace.

sea-trout and turbot caught on sandeel ,2 hooked clipped down rig size 1/0 hook ,from a county antrim beach today in a 3 hr session ,I would have stayed longer but it was so cold the sand had frozen and i had to defrost sandeels in my pocket :lol:

43cm Bass caught off a small beach on the Beara Peninsula today 12/1/08.Fish was caught on a small soft fish lure on a spinning rod.The lure was like a shad but without the wiggling tail.
