Tide:rise


Weather:cool but dry

Bait:lug ,mac,maddies.


Rigs:2up 1 down


Results:amazing





Report:94 fish won .well done daithi, 2nd 75 fish,3rd 63 fish, myself finished 5th with 45 :oops: 20 anglers fished ,biggest fish 89cm spur dog,i will post picture of the spur tomorrow

If my maths are right thats 3 fish every 7 and a half mins. Thats some going to get fish reeled in, unhooked, measured and spare trace baited up and then reeled in again.

I suppose is was alot to do with speed, he must of been shattered afterwards.

from start bait up 3 to 4 traces most cast only 4 to 5 min [ men sweating on a frosty night]

what minumum sizes were you using :?:
94 fish thats some result for 4 hours fishing.

My god....thats some haul for a match :shock:
Sea Species(25) bass, codling, whiting, turbot, seatrout, stingray, pollock, coalfish, longspine scorpion, ballan wrasse, dogfish, ling, pouting, poor cod, dab, mackerel, smelt, sandeel, launce, bull huss, painted ray, thick lip mullet, golden grey mullet, rock goby.
Fresh Water (2) brown trout, sea trout

about 60 % over 20 whats this with the :roll: when the whiting is feeding in big numbers no one can catch fish over 20 only any way its match fishing and can say over 95% plus returned alive

hi john i have seen it and been there you have 10 or more under size fish and the angler beside you have 1 fish over 20cm and wins :evil: so this way if you are catching your scoreing
