Mixed to rough ground rod

#1 Post by SHANE R »

Hi lads just looking for a bit of advice on choosing a mixed to rough ground rod. Will mainly be used for rock marks and fishing over kelp etc. I want something with enough grunt but still nice to fish with. Was looking at the Greys Nitra on Gerrys website and It looks good has anyone any experience of it or any other suggestions. Willing to spend between 300 and 400. At Gerrys I can get a reel thrown in too for that price.

Cheers
Shane

Shane,

I think there is a Greys Apollo on here for sale which would do the biz for ya too, it's about 180 euro. Try the for sale section.

Century CM 13' 6 a beauty too.

Zziplex Dymic HST.
Even the softest of bites can be picked up because of its unique action and it has the power down below to cope with any situation, and its the lighest rod ive ever owned.
Im selling mine if your looking for a bargain, its listed in the for-sale section on here and in mint condition  !!
It just does not suit my casting style  hence the sale to pay for another new toy..
