using google earth for keeping a fishing log
recently moved my fishing log to google earth. can still add as much detail as i would like but has the added benefit that i can mark off very specific marks that i wouldnt be able to otherwise remember the exact location of

how mate, some of us dont spend all day with computers :roll:

some of the images of some of the more remote marks are a bit blury but generally i would say about 80% of my marks are pretty clear, even to the extent of seeing tiny features on a beach such as trickles of water or boulders.

what i do is put a place marker (the big yellow pin) on the specific peg that i fished or as near as i can get to it.
heres an example of inch strand in east cork.
if i double click on the pins i can see all the notes that i have added on that specific mark.
