lads can any of u give me fool proof advice on getting pics on my reports. :oops:

in cameras and photography. go to uploading photos. jim from cork has a link to a site called powertoys for windows xp, when you have that just right click on your photo and resize it to medium....
as ole rab c said " see me' see the sea' i love the sea me"
right i'am off for a swally!!!!!!! so were's the F***'n purse!!!!!!!

i use the paint application. the older model for XP used to allow you resize to specific pixel size which was great. the Vista version only allows you to adjust by % so i use 75% and they fit ok

Most image viewing programs will have a resizing tool, if you don't have anything, Picasa which is free seems to do it quite easily, there is a guide [url=http://www.latech.edu/tech/rural/website%20project/web_tutorial/articles/resize_pictures_picasa.html]Here[/url]
that shows it step by step using Picasa, with a download link for the program as well.

A good size to use is around 800 pixels wide.

cheers for the help lads have it sussed. went with jim from corks advice in the photo section of this forum worked grand. :lol:
