Me, Tom,Martin Allister and Adrian

Fished 3pm to 8pm

Sea calm, no wind ht 7-45 approx

Rigs 2 hook flappers oand 1 up 1 down.

Bait lug, rag, mack, bluey and squid.

Catch 15 flounder, 9 coalfish.

First cast produced a 33 cm flounder followed next cast by another. Went quiet untill dark. Martin got a double shot of flounder 33 and 34 cm. The coal fish all came after dark the largest being 33 cm. All the fish were caught on lug tipped with mackeral and released. No bites at all on bluey baits either on its own or when tipped on lug or rag. Bluey does not seem to work in this area of Donegal.

Species 2008. flounder, whiting, turbot, sea trout, coal fish, 3 bearded rockling.

Thanks Fishamannum 1. We have been trying blueys for the last few months since they became available from Land and Sea in Derry. Only caught 2 fish on them but i still meet anglers who swear by them. Maybe they will fish better in the summer months. ?
