Hi Zeke , i was fishing in bray harbour last week and was talking to a local angler. He told me to try the very end of the prom, down at the amusements. You are near Bray Head there and should get some shelter from the southerly winds . You can park in front of where youre fishing. Standard 2 or 3 hook flappers should work there, try scaling down your hooks, size 1 or 2 maybe. I used mack and squid last week and caught plenty of whiting, 1 doggie, but there are dabs and rockling also. hope this helps, i'm no expert , got this from a local. I'll try the harbour myself in the morning, might also try the beach. Good luck with the fishing :!:
Species '20 (14) 5 Beard Rockling, Shore Rockling, Codling, Whiting, Pollock, Coalfish, Pouting, Corkwing Wrasse ,Ballan Wrasse, Poor Cod, Dab ,Smoothhound,Flounder, Thornback Ray

you also have a good chance of flounders/coalies/ 5bearded rockling/whiting/and a slim chance of a dog at this time.
